The ferries’ tradition in Dürnstein have a very long tradition.
We are operating a private person- and bike ferry, which is running
with electricity and solar energy only for a few years. 
During the ferry hours we are crossing the Danube upon request, meaning there are no waiting times, except of large crowds.

During flood waters, heavy wind, thunder storms or other special occasions we are withdrawing the service. There is no claim to any services.
